ACC 100 story latest

Appologies for the delay but this is down to a large enough space being available in the magazine due to world champs and ToB

The news editor (a Norwood Paragon member) wanted a 250 word story to go with the picture but I wrote slightly more than that (about 900 words more in truth :-) and the big boss editor said he wanted to run my large version

Said NP member got aggrieved with this cos a) HE's the news editor and b) it was Addiscombe and not NP with 122 riders out, and started blubbing like a little cry-baby.

We hired some tidy muscle (I know a few tasty geezers from round Bermondsey way who I sometimes use for a little extra 'insurance') and a severe beating was administered. So we'll run the story while NP news editor is away from his desk recovering in hospital and unable to stick his green and yellow beak in any further - hopefully next week.
Watch this space.

No - that's because the printer is saving up all the yellow ink for when we run the 122 riders pic ;-)

The readers aren't stupid, they will be able to tell it's an old story.

Have you seen the sun out in the last couple of weeks :?:

Don't worry - its not a story about THAT particular club run but a much broader story about the growth of the club over the last few years - that picture merely serves to illustrate the point.
