I'm the same age as Micheal Rasmussen

Drinks down the beer circus sounds like a good idea.

Just one wish Alan, I want to break free from my turbo

He's gonna have pass the following tests if he is;

1) Avoiding Marraige
2) Avoiding Babies
3) Avoiding DIY
4) Avoiding the 'You spend more time on your bike than with me' conversation..

etc....

You see the thing is, I may well fall head over handle bars in love one day. Bloody hell, eventually ill have to get a proper job too. And it will all, probably, go to sh1t. But while im, young, free, single and all that. Im gonna be doing my very best to stick it to you all! 8)

Lol, i realise im in my own little world by the way. But seriously, you should try it. Get divorced, go back to school. Whatever. The fact is, I love riding my bike, simple. I always will!

Not sure on times by the way Graham, around 8ish i'd reckon...

Oh and 1. easy
2. so far so good, have had a scare mind, was not good!
3. easy, thats what decorators are for
4. hmmm, its been raised when i was younger with a girl at the time, she didn't last much longer. (funnily enough the same girl as no. 2 :? )

Toks, what if I actually found a girl who let me race all season and train the rest of the year!? Im sure they exist!?

George, you get away with it don't you!?

You're doing it all wrong guys. Find a lass who's into cycling then you can both avoid 2) & 3). Bit of a bugger when your other half gets a lighter road bike than you though.

P.S. Michelle's my other half :D

I failed all 4 tests years ago...I'm hopeless !!

The 'Getting together with a cyclist' works as long as the girlfriend doesn't have the potential to whip your arse.

If she can then you'll probably need a shrink to work it out...

I guess i am very lucky, Jo cycles/runs /swims etc and i have never had that "not out on that bike again" conversation.
As for kids i had mine young

my youngest is nearly 23 and has just left uni.

Adam will probably drift in and out of bikes- i know i did, but once bitten....
