Cheers Kev

I'm looking toward where Farthing Down should be out the window and I can't see it at the moment due to mist - so we're going to make a decision at 1pm based on how (if) it clears up

I'll txt you then

Cheers Hugh.

I'm going to leave work soon anyway as I'm owed so much time, for having to work late over the last month or so.

Adam, Kasper or anyone else? whether this happens or not do you want to go out for a quick spin. Approx two hours afterwards?

Kevin im up for a ride after, was gonna head down to bletchingly then along some lanes for a while then ending up at box hill and then do the dash back along the chipstead valley?

Plus the art director called me to say 2.30, this right Huw so long as its clear enough?

So give us a bit more of an insight Huw - how come in your bank of surely thousands of cycling images you don't have a photo of three riders to make for the cover? I understand that our guys will not be riding specific bikes (that would be tested in next week's issue) or wearing specific clothes like to show the autumn is coming. I'm puzzled as to why you need this photo? (unless it's part of the much bigger plan for ACC World dominance that seems to developping)?

You'd be amazed at how quickly the image banks become depleted - once you've used a couple of shots from a particular shoot - you can't use any more because it's obviously the same (identifiable by riders, clothing, location etc).

Usually bike tests, group shots etc will provide a few covers but there's always gaps which need filling, especially in winter - I'll try to get more notice in future so we can shoot a handful with ACC riders in a couple of different locations - maybe get a photographer out on a weekend with a few riders and do a tour of the best local locations on the surrey hills

That would be good. After all, some of our more ruggedly yet boyishly handsome, better-dressed and more inspirational riders can't generally make weekdays.

Lol, gotta say some of this afternoons picture were quite good actually. They'll be paying me next 8)

Well, the three likely lads, Kevin and Kasper and myself then rolled over to Fannys Farm to see what all the fuss was about. What a lovely afternoon, weather could have been nicer, but I guess you can't have it all!

Yeah really nice ride out today. Not too cold or wet as it lightened up quite agreeably as was expected.

Good call Huw!! Tom!!! Dan!!! et al

This modelling lark is a piss of p***.

And the free gear thrown in at the end wasn't bad. WHoops wasn't meant to mention that as I can hear the readers of this post going green with envy as I type.

Sorry guys , we signed a contract with the guys at ipc for any more work that comes our way.
