Yep that's where I'll be on Saturday, was going to do the CR first but would be a bit of a rush to squeeze this inbetween CR and beer.

I'm thinking of dropping by for an hour or so tomorrow morning
Just gonna do a selective visit to a few stands (e.g. Gore to lok at fluorescent commuting clothing, Assos to admire their kit, Condor to covet new bikes, etc.)
I've got a free pass from a friend so I won't feel obliged to hang around for a few hours trying to achieve a satisfactory ROI from my entry fee

I went today, to be honest its probably not worth the 13.50 entry fee. Interesting all the same, but perhaps not as much on show as I would have liked to have seen. But a lot of bike porn none the less!
Also popped over to the rouleur exhibition, also good. But very very very small, so don't make a special trip over there because of this (Host Gallery, Honduras St, EC1) The photography annual makes for a great 'coffee table' book. Absoloutely superb photography, if a little pricey.
Simon, I saw the Action guys this afternoon, was good to catch up with them. You gonna do it again next year??

Same with any trade show Adam, I was on a freebie so it didn't matter.
If you only want to look at nice bikes you may as well just browse the local bike shops and save the cash, only worth going if you are looking to buy something and can quiz the manufacturers. I wanted to talk to some of the lights makers/distributors and have a chat with Ernesto about my trip to Italy next year so worth the journey, although that was a pain in the bottom bracket as they shut a load of tube lines for engineering works today

Nicole Cooke was on the Raleigh stand signing posters, was she their when you went? Seemed a nice genuine sole, not just smiling and spouting platitudes like some do.
Did pick up an anti-fog stick for glasses which seems to work really well, only £5. Looks like a chapstick, you "draw" on the lenses with it then buff off. Breath on the lenses and no mist, very clever, just wish I'd had it last week when they steamed up in the mist and I caught some air after hitting a pothole.

I know what you mean Sean, by the time the show has got to the UK, we have seen all the stuff via the web weeks before.
I really feel the displayers ( is that a word?) are missing out on a buyer frenzy.
When you are there with your wad in your hand you could do some serious buying- and there you are left high and dry, with only some spoddy old Bourne sports 26XL tops that look baggy on me.
