CR 13th October - Thanks to the 19's

Postby Michelle » Sat Oct 13, 2007 2:19 pm

Thanks guys for the ride today, and for not being so good that you dropped me! And for the through and off ( 1st time for me) and....got 2nd place in the sprint....I know, PD Sprinter was elsewhere.

Michelle

ps Adam, you didn't appear too depressed when we were chatting earlier in the ride, wondering why you wanted to kill yourself in front of that Mercedes?

Which Merecedes? :?

Anyhoo, I was indeed off elsewhere. A few of us jumped across to the training group at the dual carriage way. So I then duly stamped my Prima Donna Sprinter status on them by absoloutely kicking there arses. Oh yes, at least three bike lengths between myself and Paul 'I nearly had you' Tunnel. And who knows where Steve 'the shadow' was?

But yes, the 19's was quite respectable today. It was actually 20.5, but smooth enough all the same.

So, a good CR for me, the Prima Donna is back.

But will he be on the start line in two weeks? Who knows...

That wasn't a Mercedes and I was no where near it!

Probably the blood red haze that you would have been seeing after such a poorly timed attempt at fooling the sprinters

No the Merc was the one that nearly sweded you down the hill. I understand it was a Range Rover that you nearly headbutted on the sprint.

[quote]... the Prima Donna is back.

Perhaps not for long!

OK folks - I've resisted for long enough - now I'm gonna blow Adam's cover.

Prima Donna - literally translated means, First Lady.

Should that be Amanda......Adam?

Call me whatever you like snoop. I am totally comfortable with my feminine side.

To clarify, I was actually nowhere near the whatever 4x4 it was in the sprint.

The cars going down the hill, yes, my fault. But to be fair they weren't that close either, its not like i forced any of the rest of you over at all is it? Plus, my 'traffic management' skills are perhaps risque, but i've got nothing on the way some people ride in a bunch. I refer particularly to the return back from the cafe in Charlwood.

Still, at least I have the speed to get me out of trouble ay :P

Oh, didn't you see me? I was busting my nads off trying to keep with the insanely fast training group today (and suceeded for the first time in ages I might add :D).

Yeah sorry, of course you wouldn't have seen me, you were sitting at the rear of the next group back, getting an easy ride, saving yourself for the sprint. Mmmm, can't speak too loud, thats how I got the name 'Shadow'

Anyway, good sprint Adam, shame I didn't have any legs left to sprint with, it would have been a good'un

So that's why I've been so hungry all afternoon.

Next week, must remember to reset my speedo before we start.
