URGENT - Darts Match tonight

Due to an unforeseen illness, the Agreeable Darts Team is 1 player short for tonight's home match

Please can someone step in and make up the team?

Your standard of play doesn't matter - as long as you can throw the pointed end to the round thingy on the wall (that's about all we do anyway).

It is a social event with cheap beer and good company.

It is at the Lindfield Social Club, Lindfield Road, Croydon, starting at 8:30pm. Sandwiches are provided.

If no-one else can make it then I will stand in just this once....but it means missing band practice....and in any case I am absolutely hopeless at darts.

George....what are you up to tonight? Does a broken neck preclude arrow-throwing? This could be a great way to further your quest for sporting glory whilst off the bike....and it's only round the corner.

I would love to come tonight but I'm up in London this afternoon until 8ish. I could arrive but I would arrive about 9.30pm.

Like I say - I will do it if no-one else can. I will check forum at 5pm and if no-one else has posted then I'll see you at Lindfield Social Club at 8.30.

Distance isn't the issue, it's more the fact I've missed the last 3 weeks of band due to holiday and work commitments so don't want to miss yet another.

But I do like a good game of darts. Haven't played in years.
