Surprised you're coming Jon A, what with Millwall's glamorous top of the table clash against Bournemoth on... oh hold on I'm holding the paper upside down - it's a dour relegation battle - see you on the IOW then :-)

Ha Ha very good, though we will chuck our meal down our necks pretty sharpish if we are going to see England in the final of the rugby world cup!! Remind me again who knocked Wales out?

Good god things must be bad at the new den if you're switching to rugby Jon :-)

I'd rather sit in the brasserie eating raw offal washed down with stagnating warm beer than watch another turgid display of battering-ram forward play and drop-kick practice that the English call rugby these days.

At least South Africa play a proper game though (at least until England throttle the life out of the match they do) - but then again so did France and New Zealand and they're back in the pub with Wales :-(

Drugs ruining cycling
England ruining rugby

We're doomed... doomed I tell you...

Did anyone see the golf at the weekend?

I'd rather have head-to-toe scrumpox that watch rugby in any form anywhere, any time. Why, I'd - I'd even prefer to talk about cycling.

Bring on the tripe with devilled kidneys (rare) and mineswept pints of room-temp Grotneys

I didn't know it existed until I saw the sports page of the Guardian on Saturday. Apparently you get it from spending too much time with your head lodged between other men's sweaty inner thighs.

I've found what seems to be a decent cafe that will be open next Sunday for a brief lunch stop - called The Old Fort, The Esplanade, Seaview PO34 5HB
