Sending Private Messages

Postby John Cochrane » Thu Oct 18, 2007 10:40 pm

I've tried sending a private message and it's sitting in my outbox. Do I need to do anything else or will it eventually get sent automatcally?

Private messages there great aren't they!

You can stab someone in the back and there's only one other witness

Yeah - you can really bitch about other people in the club and no one else need ever know.....

Except maybe Marco.....or anyone else with admin access.....or anyone else who has managed to hack-in to the entrails of the teamroom.

I thought they were in the outbox until the recipient logged on and collected the message. They seem to shift to sent once the person has collected it.

basically Paul,

When you click the hyperlink (button) with a 'pm' on it, and then type your message. If the person is not online at the time of sending it will sit in your outbox, until they log on.

I issue a call to arms for all pedants, and grumpy old men and women out there, for a return to complete words and properly constructed sentences.

1) Never drop your vowels in public Mo.
2) I don't agree, I think most of it's too contrived to be phonetic.
