i reckon anyone who can stick with the training group has a chance of winning.

it should be a good race to watch, theres about 6 or 7 people all at a similar standard of fitness....i guess its going to come down to whos got the most luck and experience on the day...

will marek be able to storm us off his wheel on the final bend?

will sylv show some french flair?

will steves lungs be ok in the cold?

will keith have enough experience?

will hal go for a long one?

will adam race?

will i ride to a solo victory from 1 lap in?

its all exhillarating stuff! :D

You're all forgetting one important factor - the possibility that money might change hands down the back straight - then it'll come down to whose got the biggest budget :-)

I found 20p on the way to work this morning, and I'm sure there's an old Halls Soother (strawberry flavour) in my desk that I can offer to anybody willing to act as leadout.

im already feeling sick with nerves, and i get flutters of adrenaline when i try to sleep at night...

and yes, i am going to be doing 2x20 tonight :D

ive done a few big rides this week so i figure i might aswell get in some intense stuff.

then tomorrow im going for a blast up to box hill, round it twice and back home...its about an hour and half full on, so near enough the length of the race. then friday, very gentle spin just to keep the motabolism going, and then give the bike a going over, then give my legs a massage, then early to bed, early to the race to get a good warm up, then try and win from 1 lap in 8)
