Hola a todos

Hope you all have a great ride this W/e. I am trying to do likewise but mostly recovering from jet lag and altitude. I am not sure that altitude training really work because you spend the first 4 days trying to breath and taking on liquids! If you are really bored you could check out these links

Nice blog Alan, handy having that laptop hey.

From the sun drenched beaches of Puerto Polluto to the dazzling heights of it's bustling capital.
Cuzco City, this former Spanish protectorate has well and truly earned it's reputation as the region's least war-raveged country.

Viva San Sombrero!

"... it's bustling capital..."? "... it's reputation..."?

Out with that wretched greengrocer's apostrophe!

Ian, am I in yet?

The poor old Spanish language is getting mangled a bit here. Ian, is there an international branch?

Very nice Alan. If you get a chance check out this link:

One of the organisers Lon Haldeman, former RAAM winner and transcontinental record holder, is a big fan of Peru. If you search through his blog there is quite a bit on his travels in Peru. He also runs bike tours there :D

Maybe, but Shinning Path still operates

Thanks for these replies only one of which was part of the contest to attain a record in pointless posts.

I will follow up the links sent.

Yes probably a student dentist Sylv

Still trying to sort out a bike ride but seem to have found a ride for Sunday, 30k off road to include transfers, lunch, kit foe $50. Also someone has told me she knows the mother of a pro cyclist here but can´t think who it could be.

I will probably update the blog and photos tomorrow and maybe refresh this message

take care

Alan
