The activity looks alot, but it's actually no more than what I normally do. The goals have been structured slightly differently, so that they are more interlinked, and I can kill a few birds with one stone. I was already part way there with some of the goals this year (and last year) so what I've set myself for next year is just continuing the natural progression. Only problem might be too much interlinking could become a house of cards effect - so next year my blog may become just one long BBC2 test card !! :D :D
I have added in a fun element to break up the season a little.

Yeah, shame I can only wear one uniform when racing - anyway, I've yet to decide what colours they'll be for next year.

Toks how have you managed to see me racing this year ? I've barely seen you ! Especially as the majority of my races were women-only !!

When you think about it, most women that do competitive cycling are billy no-mates because very few teams have more than a couple of women who race consistently. You might read write-ups on team presentations etc but you'll find that after the first few races in the season the structures have dwindled, and in something like the women's team series alot of the teams are made up of guest riders.
In fact this weekend I'm doing a team event for cyclo cross, and none of us are in the same club.
Women's racing just becomes a case of us just mucking in together all across the SE and beyond, and enjoying the competitive scene. In fact I end up making quite a lot of cycling mates in the process. I don't mind that.

:D  Fair enough - it'd be no different if I raced in ACC colours - I wouldn't have had any team mates at the races either. Tamar and Carole time trial, Michelle only did the very last women's race in the season, and she's 2nd claim ACC anyway. Pearsons have had a couple of girls race this season - just not as a regular team as had been originally touted :?

for me my goals are:

Spot Toks in a race. (only joking - I need at least one achievable goal!)

do better than last year:

earn > 8 BC points in RR

plan of attack is to not use CP races to get race fit but to be race fit by the time they start so start gettinh points early in the series.

Hopefully hog hill will have come about to reduce pressure on CP.

other aims I have are more leisure based (e.g. do some mtb, track, sportives so as more leisure based I won't term them goals - more like 'plans for next year')
