That's great, George

Imagine going in there - sound of door dinging a la Open All Hours.

GB - "Can I help you?" (note the absence of sir/madam)

George - "Yes, I'd like to speak to the miserable Gent about buying some ACC gear."

GB - "I'm sorry, that could be any of us - why don't you shove orf?"

If you're asking am I still going to be racing in Mozzy colours the answer is No. But the Mozzie team continues as far as I know, hardly a loss I only raced 5/6 times :D

It's usually 20% off everything in the January sale.

If you order on-line you don't have to deal with anyone miserable or schlepp down to Croydon.

Find some other socks though. Mine wore through the toes in no time, and the black foot runs into the yellow cuff - even at 30 degrees. Oh Lordy, I sound like Mrs Beeton. Of course, Andrew will tell you that you should only ever white socks anyway.

Which is why I don't own any ACC socks. Coloured cuffs are allowed  , but the main body of the sock that is visable should always be white. Coloured oversocks permissible to avoid ruining every pair of socks you own during the grotty weather.

Standards have to be maintained, coloured socks indeed :x .

Cycled to work three times. Wore black socks each time :P

I refuse to wear white socks. I will usually ride in cycling socks, but never white ones. Tomorrow may see either the Peloton beer ones or, perhaps the Pink Floyd ones. Much better than Stu's white socks, I think you'll agree.

When I raced mountainbikes, I always wore thin woolen argyle socks to ride in. I like to think my standards have improved.

Is it worth keeping the GB link to the ACC kit as a sticky at the top of the forum for those who want to purchase the colours...
