I just saw George in GBs

Money was about to change hands and there was a Time Trial bike on the table

Be afraid. VERY AFRAID

A year ago George was quite happily riding along on his old steel frame with downtube shifters and a rack.
Now it's all power meters and TT bikes, Boras and disk wheels.
What's happened to the boy?

No need for you to be afraid Huw, the chances of seeing you in the layby of a dual carriageway at 6:30am must be fairly slim  .

I was speaking to John Lovell the other week about time trialling and he came up with the fine idea of trying to co-ordinate either entries, or at least knowledge of who's riding where.

This is a fine idea as a lot of the camaraderie at TTs comes from the meeting up and chatting with friends over a cuppa and a cake whilst comparing how well / badly it all went. It would also help encourage new riders as they'd know where other Agreeables would be.

Once I've got the CTT handbook next year I'll create a post (and make it a sticky) in the Racing section. It will be very simple in the following format:

Month 1:
Event1
Event2

Month2:
Event1
Event2
Event3

etc, etc.

Easy posts - one per person and you just edit your own post as and when you decide to do an event, or delete a provisional. I'd suggest only putting the event up so as not to advertise too much dates of when we won't be at home.

I'll kick it off in January and see where it goes. If it ends up without legs then I'll just take the sticky off it.

The story is true, but I dont see what the big deal is with him buying a TT bike (planet x reportedly). Whats the big deal?

Mo - Just wait til you're quick enough to ride in a group with him/TT against him - THEN you'll understand :)
