Best if I get the train over though and leave Keith to ride the extra 20kms.

What cafe do you meet at and where is it please?

Also is there a place to lock your bike up?

And from what time?

Michelle, if you mean the pre-CR cafe then it is past the shops and just after the bridge on the left as you head towards Croydon from CSS, can't remember what it's called (Regalino's or similar). Officially I think it opens at 9, but she tends to serve ACC riders as she's opening up so you can grab a coffee just before.

If you're there earlier and it's not open then there's a Nero's on the left before you get to the bridge.

You don't need to worry about a lock as you can either sit outside with your bike, or by the window and gaze out lovingly at it.

Seriously - It's not worth missing another 2 weeks riding just because you return before the illness is gone - you'll risk a return of the infection.

Make sure by taking a couple of days MORE than you need off. Best to miss an extra 2-3 days rather than another 2-3 weeks

On the main A23 road

Get off at CSS go the opposite way out of the station to the CR - accroos the roundabout, accross the lights accross another set of lights - first of all is Nero then Regalinos - 2 minutes from CSS at most

If you'd listened to you mother and put a proper warm coat on you wouldn't be in this state in the first place would you? Hmmm?

I tell you this one is a tenancious little barsteward, can't believe it has been coming for 10 days and then with me for 13 days. That makes over 3 weeks of cold/cough/flu. Rubbish!

Highly depressing, but still, better than breaking something etc etc.

I do need a good cycling coat though - got any recommendations?

Luckily I am not an expensive woman to keep (!) but I could get a taste in posh cycle clothing...........
