On my home last night I saw a Belgian registration plate TED 001. What's Eddy Merckx doing driving through Dulwich?

When I was heading out to swimming at Kingswood at the time I was passing through Purley I kept seeing an Aston Martin where the first part of the personalised number was ACC, didn't recognise the driver though. Probably Andrew Clive Carruthers who doesn't realise the association his car has in that area.
