I saw a chap on the Falling Leaves last year with an artificial leg. Which means that the 'average' number of legs possessed by a club cyclist is slightly fewer than two.

I'm not sure this is going to work, Huw :)

[quote="44x16"]I doubt the average club cyclist has the faintest idea what functional threshold means, let alone what his is :? .

He possesses 2.8 bikes though.
I agree, you do now so you're definitley not average....I don't expect it be one of the questions on the survey. However some might be interested to know roughly what power output a long 26minute 10 would be

2 guys on the route I did to Paris had prosthetic legs, one was even a below the knee amputee. They both rode the same 300mile route as I.

Anyhow, at the celebratory dinner in Paris where all 3 routes joined together, there was the joke that of course...

'the average number of legs on route 1... 2

the average number of legs on route 3... 2

and the average number of legs on route 2... 1.98!!'

Legends, nothing more to be said. They weren't club cyclists though so your statistics are safe Huw.

But the average won't shave their legs, and will have just 2.4 bicycles  Which is 0.4more than me  Unless you count a dodgy old moutain bike rusting in my shed...
