Can I confirm that this is a proposition to ride a Premier Calendar Stage race?
There's lots of reasons why I would suggest not riding this event:
1. It's a Stage Race; if you get dropped, depending on the race rules it could be game over very quickly;
2. Expense and Logistics; stage races are logistically very difficult to organise - unless you plan to travel each day. However, this will tire you;
3. Have you sufficient experience of riding 80-100 mile races (assuming that's the length of each stages)?
4. Have you sufficient experience racing with the elites? Lots of second cat riders (and many first cats) do not do well against them!
5. Have you sufficient stage-racing experience? Recovery from day-to-day is very important.
I'm all for people broadening their horizons - but there's more appropriate places to do this - e.g. local E12 SE Series races, the SL Jaunts (for cat 23 stage racing) and the SL Revolutions (for local E12 stage racing).
I don't want to do anyone down - but this really doesn't seem sensible to me!
