What has happened to Tim this year???

I saw Tim at the top of Box Hill last month

He was making the same noises that a lot of riders make after their first year of racing 'seriously' - ie he was finding it a bit too intense. Not the speed so much as the comitment needed and all the other things he had to give up on in order to compete at that level.

Another returnee to ACC perhaps???

Yes, the last time I saw him was mid July and he did seem a bit de-motivated... Talking about how hard life is as a 2nd, constantly getting a kicking from the E/1s. And he expressed doubt over getting his 25 points to maintain 2nd, but if he got nearly 40 then he must be OK then. Would be good to see him back in the game, he's pretty awesome when he's on form. I remember once he beat me in a sprint, just after I got my Trek (basically because it was a new bike i nearly crashed because I wern't used to it, well thats my excuse anyway) Anyhow, I was so pissed that he beat me I then rode out of my skin on Box to ensure I dropped him... I did, but only just! Doubt I'd get near him these days...
