GB'S drastic remodelling

Postby Steve W » Fri Nov 16, 2007 9:38 pm

Either GB,s are remodelling which sounds unlikely (as there is no need) or they've just been done over, boarded up and no visable stock.

Maybe I'm wrong but it looks bad

hey, I just saw that too (as in 10mins ago), you can still go in, but they are some work I think.

It has a sign: 'business as usual' or sumink

Hey Mo maybe I pased you

Was passing hoping for my usual gloat at the bikes and what the..

Maybe you are right remodelling as if they needed it.
Did get me thinking though. Where else can you grab 20-30k worth of extremely liteweight stock which will sell like hotcakes without any questions.

Was in there today. They are having new front windows put in, with a new door which is wider and more bike / delivery friendly.

That is an idea long overdue, once I went there in the morning, and as soon as I came in some delivery men put so many boxes in that I could barely move.

Steve I was going to Mirch Masala, and parked right outside Butlers.

[quote]ok panic over
Phew I was sweating for a few seconds as I walked up to Butlers to collect my new bike after paying beforehand in full, only to see the shop-front all boarded up! for a minute I thought they had gone bust

The extra space certainly makes a big difference, the whole door area is much better and more room to stand around and chat....

And George your new bike looks fantastic. :)

This in the local paper:

"Geoffrey Butlers were subjec to a smash and grab raid last night, and it seems all that was stolen was a rather tasy time trialling bike"
