It is in superb nick, only cable rubs on head tube as with any frame, and the decals are in need of replacing if you are fussy (slight scratch on one from transportation)
Decals can be bought from jim Walker at Enigma Bikes for £10

I don't think titanium is very much in vogue at the moment.
Every man and his wife wants carbon, it seems.

yeah, put it on ebay. that's the best solution.

I actually like titanium. It looks nice (brushed metal...ooooo) is reasonably light and will last forever. Also, no need to worry about chipping the paint job. :)
It's just that the fashion nowadays is to go for the ultra-light 1kg and less carbon frames.

How much does your frame weigh, Phil?

[quote]What about same sex partnerships Colin? You're excluding alot of cyclists there.

Sorry, you're right.
What I should have said is every man and his dog so as not to offend same-sex partners.
But what about cat owners?
I'm confused now.

An Omega Alchemy (Titanium and Carbon) was a top-dollar frame only a few years back. They are reasonably light - about 1100g. My build-up with alloy wheels (2003 Kysrium SSC SLs) and Campag Chorus weighed in at a shade over 18lbs from what I remember.

Sean Yates rode one for In Gear for the whole of 2004. Riders from the largely-defunct Pacific Racing Team had them too. I was talking to Yatesy about how he'd got in with his at a SL handicap towards the end of 2004. He seemed genuinely impressed with it and was actually frustrated that he hadn't managed to break it after a whole season's use.

If it is in good nick, it's not a bad price IMHO. I'm hanging on to mine to use a winter-trainer - especially as crash damage on it has rendered the resale value as negligible.

It's about 1.4kg. Only reason I am selling is ebcause I am a central London flat dweller and cannot keep two bikes and a wife. Unfortunately the wife fulfils needs the bikes can't, hence one bike. It handles very well, nice neutral feel yet still racy. I may eBay it as per George's suggestion but thought I'd offer it up locally first.

You're right. I'm upset - my cat knows what's best
