Tom Boonen's new squeeze

Postby adrian » Wed Dec 05, 2007 1:02 pm

She's 16, and he's known her for two years.

"She's young, but looks older than she is," says Tom, who's 27, incidentally. "There's always been something between us, but she was 14 then, and that really is quite young."

You've got to give the boy credit for holding out...

Fair enough she's hot, but 11years, thats quite a gap...

Especially when she's so young, i'm not sure I could go out with a 16 y/old even now, and that would only be 4years difference...

Still, maybe he'll win more next year with a nice new (trophy?) girlfriend...!?

A touch of the Jerry Lee Lewis about our Tom. Forget Museeuw, the new Jacques Anquetil on this evidence?

Going by that photo its obvious it was her wisdom and maturity that attracted Tom in the first place.

Is that a look of hero worship on her face - doesn't bode well for any relationship longer than a few weeks I'd guess.

I dunno - I always worked on the "school rule", ie was the girl at secondary school the same time as me. As you get older you can widen the rule to suit - "So wow, you were in pre-school 1 as I was finishing my doctoral thesis."

Used to be - "Do you remember Curly Wurlies?" Now it's "Can you still eat a Curly Wurly".

Was there not quite a difference in personalities though Sean?

So Dombo, if you had a sixteen year old daughter how would you like it if a 20 year old (let alone a 27 year old) was showing her the ways of the world!? lol

Shame... 31 would be a new pb for me, in actual age anyway, not age gap... managed a 30 y/old 3 days after I turned 18, in Fulham... was a good night!
