He'll have to get someone to smash his knees in to put in a really good performance. :D

Have you seen Cycle Sport (just out) Marco. Funny article on the bad boys of the year, very good turn of phrase the author has in his summing up panel particularly.

it was so much easier in the old days.
Everyone doped and everyone knew everyone doped.
It's just that people didn't talk about it.

He's apparently quit the sport protesting his innocence..

Is it possible that he didn't actually do it ?

To quit doesn't exude innocence.

Also look at the coverage, I thought it was a bit dodgy when he did that ride in the TT when I saw it, he can hardly walk to the team coach in the morning then stamps on the pedals like a nutter making Cancellara et al look pathetic.

Quit as a pro and ride for a team and a salary on the European sportive circuit where there's no drug testing.

Not that anyone does that, oh no, never happens. Who won the Nove Colli this year - Rumsas and his mum's bag of goodies. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Mazolleni (sp?) and a couple of the others did that.

There was an interview with Wiggins after... and he made some comments about the level of power he and george hincapie had put out during that fateful TT... and lets just say, he wasn't to shy to cast doubt on what Vino would have had to have produced to go faster!
