My wife says the Xmas present thing with the bottle of deodorant may be a good idea, she reckons you should say nothing, maybe you should just spray her with stuff in a discrete manner to try and hide the smell.

A very faint smell on Monday

Fine yesterday morning

she wasn't in today. Now as one of my colleagues said has she freshened up her act or have we all got used to her wiff? You see I can't bring myself to tell he she smells unless she actually smells on that particular day.

my division at work (services division of large multinational) actually have a 31 point code of conduct - personal appearance + hygiene is one of them.

didn't think about this before but perhaps this was to make this kind of situation easier, you could say there were problems with point 18 and it isn't the way you're dressed.

Getting back on the serious tack ... Years ago, my wife had a colleague with same problem. Another woman told her, gently like. She was mortified - "didn't realise I was like that" - and sorted it. Needs to be a same sex informing, I think.

I bet this has got us all sniffing our own armpits ...

yeah cheers Roy. The thing is coz she's the best looking girl in the company, just between me and you I think there a bit of whats that german term "schadenfreude" going on. IOW's the other girls are secretly loven it. The one woman in her late fifties who would be the perfect person to tell her claims she hasn't noticed this lady smells. Anyway she's in late afternoon today so I'll let you know.
