Marco and co I saw the link below which I think will be showing it live and free on the net.

I don't know what the quality would be like, or how well it'll work. You need to download some software to make it work so you probably need to be careful and virus check stuff first, so don't have a go at me if it kills your 'pooter. :D

Sopcast is fine.
I use it to watch live footie all the time.
Quality is you-tube quality....i,e not great, esp if you full screen it.

Listened to it on the radio in the end. Sounded like the ref made things difficult for Hatton in the first few rounds. But lets be honest, did any one really really really believe the plucky manc could do it? At most of the sports that count in the popularity stakes when it comes to crunch time aren't we just a bunch of good tryers

the football players, do not try. And they soak up most of the funding. Cycling cricket, rugby, athletics, get pretty much nothing for trying compared to football players. But then that will always be the case wont it. With so much money sloshing around in football.

In fairness Mo... yes Footballers are overpaid...

But the cash comes from the FA, which then in turn has come from Sky, BBC, and all the other sponsors... so really they 'aint taking out of the same pot as cycling, athletics etc etc... I wouldn't worry about rugby, they do ok for themselves. And, well, cricket... don't even get me started... its just a game, not a 'Sport'!

yes but you have to realise, that the only sport in this country where there is no salary cap is football. Also grass roots funding, is government funding related.

Adam, just cos cricket is too sophisticated for you

Rugby, they only do well if they play their cards right. Ben Cohen, for example messed up when he left Northhampton.

Yes Mo, but you have to realise... why should there be any salary caps???

And are there salary caps in Tennis (which gets loadsa money from UK sport for f'all back), Snooker, Golf...???

Cycling certainly doesn't have any salary caps that I'm aware of, why should it!?
