Yes that was an utterance from average ajay -

Above average in indulging in wild fantasies of leaving the field behind in solo break

Below average in dealing with every day realities of training on a bike

December 1st day one of my plan...

What happened was I lost my licence, turned up with 2 minutes to go, raced in a head wind, just about stuck in there at the back of the field - nicely tucked in (I could see Rob C up the road). Afterwards Rob C bought us a coffee and I got in car and went home. Found I couldn't really talk or eat for the rest of the weekend ! Decided it was a fairly lousy plan and quietly ditched it...
