Huw you've made mr average's dream come true, what a lovely xmas present...

I'm signed up with Ninder's blessing for the cruel punishing regime that you are ready to dish out...

I am fodder in the hands of the great and good at cycling weekly...

I have said good bye to my babies to surrender myself to this journey of

transformation for CYCLINGS NEXT TOP MODEL....

Steady on mate !
Easy, don't throw your hard earned cash away.
Now I'd put money on you going up the ranks...but me

I'm currently suffering from cuvade ... male symptoms of pregnancy... I want to cry uncontrollably and hug my race competitors and talk about world peace. My man boobs are growing and I am very fond of chocolates. I like watching nappy adverts with the central heating on full blast.

Miles this month on bike this month 1 (pushing the bike up a hill)
Bottles of Red Wine: 6

Huw, you and your team have got a lot of work to do :!:

Graham, sorry mate, you were a good contender for mr average...but then you went and buggered it up by WINNING the ACC road race + primes...that's definitely above average !

Hang on, is this the same AJ who posted these ambitious plans only a matter of weeks ago?

[quote="ajay khandelwal"]
I plan to target a couple of Saturdays to achieve a long standing goal of getting myself a 3rd cat licence before the club dinner! So Ill be shedding a few pounds, getting in some training, and see you fellow ACCers out there on the first Sat in December.

What happened between then and now? Where did all go wrong - the people need to know?

Yes that was an utterance from average ajay -

Above average in indulging in wild fantasies of leaving the field behind in solo break

Below average in dealing with every day realities of training on a bike

December 1st day one of my plan...

What happened was I lost my licence, turned up with 2 minutes to go, raced in a head wind, just about stuck in there at the back of the field - nicely tucked in (I could see Rob C up the road). Afterwards Rob C bought us a coffee and I got in car and went home. Found I couldn't really talk or eat for the rest of the weekend ! Decided it was a fairly lousy plan and quietly ditched it...

thank you Huw and all those who backed my lovely if somewhat unfit husband. Here's hoping he'll get his ass kicked into even better shape and will at last accomplish his 3rd Cat dream.

By the way Huw, I assume you'll be over to babysit when Aj's training encroaches on his childcare duties?... Huw?...Huw??

I think all 3rd cats should keep a season diary (starting with training programmes after xmas) and we'll compare notes at the end
