Well done Sylv!
Were there a lot of ACC riders competiting? And I know Cyclo Cross can't be just raw power, but how do you think you could get on against Seaton in a Road Race now?

No - I'll always remember that race at Palace when I foolishly took his wheel when he attacked towards the end of the climb ... I was half dying by the flat bit at the top ... then he flicked his elbow ... I slowly came to the front for the most pathetic turn ever
As toks says there are more factors to an off-road race than power - look at Bryan Taylor or Ian Paine's results. But on the other hand there is hardly ever any drafting going on, so it's pretty much always the case that the strongest man wins, unlike in a bunch sprint which can be a bit of a lottery.
Still it would have been nice to finish ahead yesterday, for bragging about at the diner
