Hillingdon 26th Dec

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Bloody hell I thought he looked a lot younger than that when he won the Redhill CC early season TT last year!!

Phew, that makes me feel a lot better! At least I have another 7 years to get that good!

5min @ 363w (this is way under my current best however, same with the 30s and 5s, they were way under what I have produced in training so far)

1hr @ 272w

Rob, I have saved the file to my documents, selecting is as .csv, but in my documents it appears as an '07 File'. Is that right? Pm me your email if its ok...

Easy, all I need is a turbo. Although with a few options of scientific testing coming my way at the moment, maybe I won't.

To be continued...!

If I can load Adam's file onto my cyclingpeaks software the normalized power for his race (1hr14) will give him a ball park figure for his current 1hr functional threshold (FT) power.

No it's not Toks as the PT software doesn't do it.

From BC

[quote]Race 5 - 26th December 2007

Source: Race report and results from Lucy Collins

It was a fine day for the 5th Race in the series, with a good entry for Boxing Day, 21 for the 4th Cat race and 39 for the E123 race.

There were two brilliant solo wins with Ali Cigari (Kingston Wheelers CC) riding away from his breakaway companion to easily win the 4th Cat race. The E123 race saw many attacks with Mick Hill (Team Quest) being very aggressive until his puncture. Keith Knight (Addiscombe CC) was also riding well, getting in the first break which looked like being successful but was finally pulled back until a final selection of 12 riders opened a comfortable gap.

However, the Streather brothers (VC St Raphael) worked very hard and almost brought it together again in the final few laps. Finally, with 3km to go Andrew Bye (Sigma Sport) took off from the front group and was never going to be caught even with the strength of Paul Pickup and Chris Moores (Norwood Paragon) pulling at the front. Andrew Bye's team mate Steve Golla played a big part in his success breaking the chasing group up. However, it was another outstanding performance by the new Sigma Sport signings. The sprint for second place was taken by Ben White (Finchley RT) who held off Paul Pickup and Chris Moores. Vince Halpern (AW Cycles) lead the remaining group in at 50 seconds for 11th place.

Chris Moores retains his overall series lead with his 4th place.
