our teams (addiscombe really senseless 1 & 2) are not in the first batch that's been posted on the event website, but it says that another 100 or so teams entered will be announced shortly.

I wont be around for sleepless and neither will some of the people who will be in morzine, so in case you want to get things going the remaining people who had applied for mm are:

shaun
will
grahame

so you could have one team if they are ok to.

if we do get in mm i'm considering modifying my cruiser to something like this:

looks bitchen eh?

cool. I'll be up for SiTS if we don't get in MM.

I'll modify my croozer as well, if we do get in.

wonder if the hub spacings are the same though, if the quill stem will accomodate riser bars, and if the pedal threads are same as mtb clipless ...

Hub spacings may be 130mm instead of the modern MTB standard of 135mm. Not a real problem - your cruiser's a steel frame isn't it? It'll give enough, or we can use one of my old spare 130mm wheels.

The quill stem will take riser bars no problem - we'll just have to be careful about getting them through the opening.

Pedal threads will either be the same or BMX standard, most likely the same, otherwise we can use another chainset with a square taper.
