Catford, Old Ports, and Sydenham for me weather and everything else permitting.

Did the West Kent RC one a couple of years ago, and although it wasn't signed and you had to stumble around with a route card, the route itself was very good. Too far to get to without a car for the start for me though, particularly after the club dinner.

What?????

I always did those, and never used a car - ride out there and back to get some extra miles in......what's the matter with you?

I'll have enough early starts once the time trials start without adding these in too! I doubt I'd be fit enough for this Sunday's anyway as I'm under attack by the snot monster.

CC Bexley 20th Reliability trial

Postby EdO » Wed Jan 16, 2008 11:16 pm

Because of family commitments I won't be able to do the clubrun on Saturday.

Is anyone riding this reliability trial on Sunday ?

It's an early start but that hasn't put me off.

Postby EdO » Thu Jan 17, 2008 11:01 am

Graham, I plan to cycle over to Horton Kirby so I can meet up on route if you're cycling over there. Probably be leaving around 7-7:30 for an early start.

Let me know if you wanna meet up.

Ed,

OK. I'll come along.

I live in West Wickham. Is this on your route to the start ?

Suggest that we meet closer to 7.00 as its not a good idea to miss the start on these things. Don't think there will be any signposts on the route, so we will need to find someone to follow.

Ta,

Graham.

That's good for me.

I can meet you outside West Wickham swimming pool at 7am.

If anyone else wants to join us they're more than welcome.

Gents, Hi.

what's a reliability ride? :? sounds interesting.

I can't ride Saturday so I might be up for this if I can bend my bike into shape. How fast will you ride over to Horton Kirby?

if not too fast I'll meet up with you at WW baths if that's OK.

A reliability ride is just that, a ride to check your bike and yourself out pre season. Not officially a race but some will obviously treat it as such.
