TUESDAY HILLINGDON????!!!!!!

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

There were at least 7 of us at Goodwood today and by my reckoning we had more than any other club out of the 100 or so riders there today.

Good luck at Hillingdon, there should be a few other ACC riders there.

Cheers

ive already posted talking bout hillingdon....so many people over winter showed interest about racing and said they would come, but as the time draws closer, numbers drop, and you tend to see that most people are all talk and no...fun!

ohwell..
ill be there weather unpermitted(if that makes sense)

so see you there

:D

and well done marek for ya second place....dont do too well though, otherwise youll be a third cat, get hard races, and constantly get battered by the e.1.2 riders,,,,,its a real downer!

Thinking about racing.....

Does the Hillingdon run every tuesday?
What about other locations?
Are there special 'novice' events?
Where is Hillingdon? (I don't have a car so just wondering if i can actually make it there from work).

Why don't you go to Crystal Palace tonight for the training ride, if you like it you will be able to race there from next week.

Crystal Palace

Postby andycarter » Tue Apr 27, 2004 12:48 pm

Sounds like a good idea. I've had a quick look over the forum and can't find and directions or anything about where and when to go, etc.
Are any other ACC riders going this evening? Time may depend on when I can get there but I'm definitely interested if someone can give me info.

Get to Crystal Palace sports arena for about 6.30 to 7.00pm. Basically cycle into the entrance half way down the hill and go straight on and you will see people cycling around on the course.

If you don't know where Crystal Palace is then take a look on streetmap or something.

See you later, in answer to your question about will there be any accers there, there were about 10 or so last week so expect the same this week.

Cheers

what time is it likely to finish?
if i come out of the train station at CP, do i head up towards the roundabout but turn into an entrance half way up on the right (i've just got a map from streetmap.co.uk.
