I've got a tart's handbag of a bike...

The first picture of my sportive bike for the year which just arrived yesterday.

Now, I know what you're thinking. Only Adamskian levels of pimpishness would lead a man to stick a pair of white wheels with red anodisded spoke nipples on such an elegantly crafted frame as the Look 585 Optima carbon but it seems to be turning heads already

Other features - full SRAM force groupset which looks great even if I haven't figured out how to actually change gear yet

No it hasn't got a dent in the top tube clever cloggs  just some smart cross-ovalising which looks nice when you see it in the flesh

Is it me or does it look a bit squashed up? I'm sure it isn't as Look bikes normally look great.

Value isn't lined up with tyre on the front wheel properly though  .

Not stomachs?
After your story about your moggie it's nice to see you've gone back to some white walls.

See, this is why you turned blue on sunday up Shire Lane, cos you worry about how the tyres are positioned rather than getting out riding on them :D

Looks pretty cool...black is the new black I guess...

Be interesting to hear what you think of the wheels. I thought they would make quite an affordable upgrade to my Fulcrum 3 wheels and would be pretty good for the sportives. Not sure about racing on them though.....

To change gear, I think you have to kick the deraillier...

[quote="Seanieh_PengeDaddy©"]Office budget couldn't stretch to SRAM Red then?

Have to leave some room for upgrades later on - see how this goes first

Lol

However, Im not at all impressed with the concept of white wheels. I mean its like an essex girl in white high heels, its just not classy! Like Sylv, you really ought to get DuraAce carbons and have some respect, Boras at the very least! Ah well, is a very nice bik though, ill give you that.

White frames however, now thats another story... watch this space

I thought you said you fancied their new mtb frame!

Do the new Treks come in white then?

Touche, yes, I'd love the mtb Look.

Don't care for the new Trek. Other bikes come in white though... arguably from the best frame manufacturer around right now...

It is very much in the pipe line though, rather than the workshop, unfortunately...
