Dura Ace front mech for sale

Postby Sylv » Sun Feb 03, 2008 6:39 pm

In my ignorance of all things road bikes I bought a new, braze-on version, unaware that the clamp-on one I had was retro-compatible.

FD-7800, Dura Ace front mech with 31.8mm clamp (you will need a small washer for the bolt to use it as braze-on though), the clamp is a bit tatty and there is a little wear to the inner plate, but it still functions perfectly with no play. £10

I'll have that off you Sylv. Want it as a braze on so not bothered about the condition of the clamp. Cheers.

Ok :D You are aware of the washer thing I mentioned? I'm sure you'll have a spare if you are replacing an old braze on mech.

Yeah no probs, got loads of washers of various sizes kicking about here, if I cant find one I'll strip the tumble drier down then the washing machine, bound to be one in either of them. :D
