dont worry grahame i wouldnt do that. i dont think it is the position of the cleats. its just a small target to hit when trying to get clipped in, also i cant feel when im in the right place. would it be ok to swap cleats and pedals, you wont be a offended will you?

Ah yes I forgot you were on borrowed shoes, but yes I did mean swapping the cleats - if Unc' Grahame doesn't mind of course. Is it something you'd be able to do yourself - did you fit the cleats yourself on your road shoes?

Stu I have the pedals and cleats with me, they should fit in a jersey backpocket.

I'll see if I have time to get home and take the road bike to do the whole chaingang, but otherwise i'll go to CSS on the mtb and see you there.

I'm fine with you changing the cleats. Just be aware that if it's a "target size" problem, the Shimano pedals are about the same size as the Time pedals.
