How do I get there??

I have to be in Kent on Saturday so will miss the CR, but in order to still put in a few miles I have had the brilliant idea of cycling there instead of the usual train. Only thing is - I have no idea of how to cycle to Kent as driving always involves the M2.

Has anyone ever cycled to Medway from either Clapham or Croydon? If so, how did you did it?
