If yes a new venue we doth need. Any suggestions from the Croydon Massive as to where we might go to enjoy some suppage, bonhomie, excellent chattery and a side order of jolly japes? Shock horror we could even strike out to London Town if the demand was there..... The possibilities are endless, how about celebrity basket weaving or maybe even......[size=50]karaoke[/size]

Bar R was the sub for the circus, and is alright. Don't know if the circus has opened again yet, a friend of Jonathan B's and Marco's was buying it. In Croydon choice is limited before you get chavy very quickly - no entry without an Elizabeth Duke half sovereign ring!

I'll have to agree The Royal Standard is the best pub in Croydon, used to go there when I worked at the college. A proper pub that sells London Pride, not sure how busy it gets in the evening used to go ,at dinner time.
