No Ideer

Riding home last night heading across to turners Hill by the entrance to Tulley's farm, I was crawling along :cry: (as it was uphill) when out of the undergrowth bounded a young - well not very big so I am assuming it was young - deer right in front of me and I braked swiftly to a stop :shock: - no damage done.

It went across the road and a car was coming down the other way quite quickly, and I thought venison would be on the table chez Tunnell :D , but he braked sharply too and the deer flashed across his headlights and was gone. :)

Happened to me in the SCCU 100 one year :shock: .

My commute is nowhere near as exotic as yours Paul - although the swans were straying across the cycle lane on Tooting Common this morning. Mmmm, swan.....

Mine is slightly less exotic still - the strays were swanning across Brixton Road as usual this morning :? Mmmm - skanky hound :P
