Fantastic. We had a street party like that for the royal wedding with the tables all lined up  , don't recall anyone blowing up a house though.

I love this. Just great for sitting down to with a tin and chilling out to with a chuckle.

Best line from last night: 'Your drunk and in charge of a handbag' :D

[quote="huw williams"]The Audi Quatro was NOT available in the UK in 1981

Must retract this - I met a journalist who was on the official launch test of the Quatro in the UK and it was indeed in 1981 although the car wasn't actually available until late in the year and the police would never drive round in a motor with such a short history.

Cheers - continuity director

[quote="marco"]that reminded me of a song i used to like back in 81ish which ive always wanted to find out what it was -
the pop video had some little bloke dressed up like a jester perhaps playing some sort of recorder or picolo or flute and prancing around a lot in the street.

any ideas 80s pop pickers?

Was it a Howard Jones track..? He used to have some kinda jester gimp following him around if I remember rightly....

Good luck in your search for truth
