socks can be too slippery if you're a sprinter and end up pulling your foot out of your shoe. You also get more feel from not wearing socks..

Can you believe that Tony Bell hasn't included 'The Big Ugly B~st+@@' (Eadie's own words) in the top 10 bearded cyclists!!!!!!!!!

If there is ever a top ten of 'Cyclists most likely to play harmonica in a Bluegrass band' I expect Eadie to be #1.

He didn't always look this stupid! I shall dig out some of my old club photo's to proove it.

Lucky for me when he was coaching me he had yet reached puberty and that beard was kept under wraps!
