very sorry to hear that Jon.
Must have been quite a shunt for you both to break things.
hearing about all these crashes, I'm almost glad I can't ride my bike much any more.

You'll be back soon.

Not so much a shunt as crash and a flying bike.

Jon, I'd recommend brandy through a straw to ease the pain.

I came off my motocross bike and broke my collarbone on a Sunday was in agony and couldn't move my arm more than 2 inches without feeling the bone grate with loads of pain. Dr's at the hospital said they could do nothing for me and just put me in a sling and told me do stay off work for at least 6 weeks.

Saw DR LASER on Tuesday, he lasered me and straight away and instantly I could lift my arms above my head and put on a Tshirt with ease, I even drove home with both arms.

Back at work 10 days later, jobs a good un! :D

Fair play George, luckily enough for me the only thing I've broken recently is wind. My girlfriend might think otherwise...

[quote="George"] I even drove home with both arms.

Does this mean he has to remove the arm first prior to lasering it back in place?

SOrry to hear about the crash, like when driving a car it's often in slow moving traffic it happens.

ooh sounds like a nasty one, hope you both have a speedy recovery and get back on a bike asap.

Seems to be a lot of fallers and crashes lately, maybe its time we all went on a cycling proficency course and proudly showed our badges (not the rusty sherrif type) at the next CR.

No this means I drove there with one arm and the other one slinged up under my jacket.

George: How much did he charge you for lazer-ing your collar bone and what exactly did he do?
I'm just interested in his miracle cures, that's all.
