Carbon tri bars for sale

Postby Jim B » Tue Feb 19, 2008 6:31 pm

I'm selling my Profile carbon strike bars that I used last year as
I've now gone for a 1 piece bar and extension combo.

They are in good order and look like this:

They have a few scratches around the clamp where I have adjusted the length and I've cut the last 2 cm off the back where they stuck through too far.

They can be used with or without bar end gear shifters and are pre-
drilled. They fit both regular and oversize bars.

RRP £99.99 but best internet price is £82.95 plus postage. I'm
looking for £35 for these.

I also have a Profile Airwing OS base bar to go with them going for
the bargain price of a tenner.

Jim I could be interested to fit on my road bike for the 12h TT, but I have the funny feeling they would not fit on my Os bars, which are flat on the top - I can't even fit a bracket for a headlight there. Will have to checl first.

Jim, my bars bulge straight out of the stem so they won't fit, Carl you can have them.

Sylv
general opinion seems to be not to clamp anything on those shape carbon bars, especially not aero bars as they need to be done up really tight.

BTW, saw a number plate on a car today.......C 5YLV
