Good luck Snoop, and that sounds great Marco but will have to wait for another year, I don't think my Mummy would be happy if I went on Sunday.

To endorse Marco's enthusiasm, I followed Paris-Nice all the way (as a journalist) in the mid-1960s. Allowing for the great changes in everything since, there really was close access to riders. As it's the first stage work-out of the season, things aren't so intense (and the control-freak American teams are out of the picture now  ).

D'oh! Still not sure I can make this year but always fancied following Paris-Nice. Take the bike, cycle about, couple of train jumps and B&Bs and catch the prologue and first couple of stages.

Come on, lets just go for the sunday then. We'll leave saturday and spend one night in Paris. I reckon my parents would allow me, on the proviso that its responsible adults and no drunkedness :D (yes Mr Green)

What have people been saying?

No can do this year I'm afraid Mo. I'll try and remember for next year (It'll still start near Paris after all) and look in to a little trip, possible route over, train links, B&Bs, rides to do while there and where we could see the action etc. If there were people interested of different ability then some could always take longer train links to hook up as I'd be looking to get some decent miles in the legs too.
