Can't argue with that, or the fact that he's a lot quicker than I ever was or will be, but making the point that even with that massive gearing, other riders using somewhat smaller gears relatively speaking were quicker.

PBs (from his club website):
10 - 19.42
25 - 50.41
30 - 1.04.21
50 - 1.45.47
100 - 3.48.55
12hr - 274.087 miles

Whatever the event, and regardless of where he finished, and what the gearing is....he's ****ing quick. :D

and whilst it's have a go at Paul week .... it's clearly not a national championship competition as he has no arm numbers

I suspect it was taken from the event as he has long fingered gloves on. When it gets hot he wears track mitts

Nik B came past me last year in a 25, we were going into a near galeforce headwind, he was pushing an enormous gear as smooth as you like. Very impressive. Not only a top rider but a real good bloke.

The only time I've seen Nik in action was when he went past me, about 25 miles into a 100. It's quite weird when someone comes past going quicker but pedalling a lot slower.
