[quote="mrP(Boonen)VT"][quote]it might get back to PVTs beloved dual carriageway yet
and don't forget RichV as well.
originally, the proposal was to alternate between this mountain challenge and the Holmwood course, but because too many of the NP refused to ride on Holmwood, they could not get a team together, so we conceded.
I don't particularly love dual carriageways and would much rather spend a week in the Alps than trundling up and down the A1 on a Sunday morning. However with my 'busy professional build' caused mainly by a love of cake
I know that I'm unlikely to beat the mountain whippets round a hilly course and my competitive instinct means that when I get the opportunity to race I tend to race on flat courses where us lard-arses have a 'fair' chance
There's no reason why we shouldn't beat NP this year with the improvements being made by the skinnier members of the club and you can all have a warm-up on 16th March at the SCCU hilly, entry forms in by next Tuesday if you want to beat me over a hilly TT. But don't think we'll ever get it back to Holmwood the windy Paragon lot will refuse to ride it.
