it starts on the A25 just outside bletchingly, turns left - goes uphill for a couple of miles, then sa bit of false flat then uphill again
turns left at the junction at the end, goes uphill
then when you get to the steep climb it goes straight up it
keep climbing for a couple of miles and you get to the finish
its pretty strraightforward!!!
You're making it sound too hard Marco it's not all uphill
.
Basically starts just outside Bletchingley on a little spur road off the A25 (just to make starting safe).
Up the A25 (drag) through Bletchingley, over the motorway and then left at the pub (name escapes me - White Hart?).
Lovely fast descent which flattens off for a reasonable section where you can try and carry the speed from the descent for as long as possible.
T junction at the end, sharp left and along a bit, becomes a bit draggy and then as you go left there are 2 hills, both are fairly short and if you're fit enough you can power up them staying on the big ring and getting out the saddle.
The SCCU event is 2 in 1. i.e. there is an 11 mile event which is as above, and also a 21 mile event (I'm doing along with a number of others) where you carry on past the "finish" back to Bletchingley main road, turn left and do another lap.
SCCU events are well marshalled so you shouldn't have a problem knowing where you're going as someone will be there to point the way.
11 mile one is this. For the ull 21 miler just carry on to the high road turn left and do another lap.
