Motivational speaking?

Postby huw williams » Fri Feb 29, 2008 9:50 am

Doing some course work on coaching last night, specifically motivation techniques for group training sessions.
The manual suggested "thinking of an inspirational speech and adopting the tone and technique for your own method of presentation"

So, imagine you turn up to the next club run and Monty's pre-ride talk turns out like this... Ed Harris, Jack Lemmon, and Alan Arkin get a dressing down from Alec Baldwin in 'GlennGary, Glenn Ross'

Brilliant. One of my favourite films, that. Even Alec Baldwin - generally a bit crap - is fantastic.

"F8ck you - THAT''S my name."

Weirdly, in the recent stage production, Jonathan Pryce played the character played by Jack Lemmon in the film.

Whenever I've mentioned standing with your legs apart, groin thrust forwards, and roaring before I've got funny looks :?
