Bike storage - sale item

Postby huw williams » Tue Mar 04, 2008 11:46 am

Anybody want to hang a bike in a garage/spare room/hallway etc?

I've got one of these going cheap

http://www.blazingsaddlescycles.co.uk/p ... cts_id=401

(brand new, still boxed and unused) doing nothing while I await planning permition for my 5-car garage)

Holds complete bike verticaly with both wheels away from the wall and a couple of extra hooks for helmet, jackets etc

Yours for a £10, first come first served.
Can't say fairer than that can I? What do you want the shirt off my back? Wasn't born yesterday you know etc etc...

Need something like this for my landing - a baby buggy is soon going to have to go where two bikes currently live and already constitute a fire hazard :?

When you say 'both wheels away from the wall', do you mean they're, like, perpendicular to the wall as opposed to parallel to it?

Yes - It stands on the wall like its riding up it, but there's two 'pads' so your grubby tyres are not actually on the wall itself

Think it's probably the wrong configuration for the space I have in mind, so I withdraw - sounds as if it'll go to a good home. Thanks anyway
