Crowhurst

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Crowhurst

Went round the Crowhurst circuit yesterday and there are loads of potholes to enjoy on Saturday.

we should be getting around 6-7 riders in this. we should come up with a few plans before the race.

I am hoping to make my road racing debut here to get a feel for things. No really up to race pace yet so probably won't be available for and serious work in a break. Just looking to have a good finish.

What happens if it is raining, do they still go ahead or is it like crystal palace where it is canceled.

see you there

Hal... It will be on regardless of rain. One thing I would say though is be prepared to work hard just to stay with the bunch. Not sure what your fitness is like at the moment. But I chose a 2/3 race as my opener last year, it nearly reduced me to tears. Admittedly my preparation leading up to that wasn't great, but still. Good luck anyway...

(There is a 3rd cat only race though the morning after at Kirdford!)

I've asked mrpvt to put me down on the start list as well so that makes eight starters for addiscombe.

Should be fun :D

Nah, you should use some of the white microporous tape used to hold dressings in place, that way its even more obvious and 'Pro' looking!
