Rock Racing - Intentionally sinister ?

Postby Dominic » Sat Mar 08, 2008 7:17 pm

I had a look at their website today. Is the kit designed to make them look sinister or is it just for the fact of the people they have employed? Don't get me wrong, other issues aside, I really like the kit. Good branding indeed. Makes quite a pleasant change from Discovery's whiter than white!!!

Really like the LAS helmets though almost as nice as the Tinkoff ones.

Well they have put a skull on the jersey :D . Got to be designed to look sinister as they knew they were going to play up to the "bad boys" tag as much as possible. Ball's a good PR man and knows how to get attention, they roll up in Cadillac Escalades with tinted windows for heaven's sake - although the gangster rapper image then falls flat when the people getting out are dressed head to toe in lycra  . Then again Pez will be delighted with the "entourage" of ladies Mr. Ball surrounds himself with at races (why Cipo signed?).

I'm with you on the kit, at least they stand out and are doing something different. Same with the argyle army.
