The only thing I remember about proper rollers is the static charge that built up. This made my hair (as it was) stand on end and would give anyone that touched me an electric shock.

Best keep it quiet from the health and safety folks....

Make sure someone takes some photos, we want to see you suffering to earn you money  .

Is it this Friday? Didn't you say you were doing a CBC on Saturday. How come you're not doing the SCCU sporting 21 and then go with George to do the SL RR in the afternoon? Lightweight  .

But not the SCCU sporting 21 ya lightweight  .

Looking at the startsheet it's like a club run early on, every other rider an agreeable (including big Dave P as he's still a very agreeable chap). I could get passed by quite a few in yellow on this one  Jon and Dominic starting a few minutes behind me and then Rich and Robert on their first lap whilst I'm dying on my second.

I was shocked to see his name down as he's not a huge fan of hills, he'll still be a lot quicker than me though.

Top marks to Paul for persuading his employer to let him do 4 hours training whilst at work and presumably getting paid for it.

Now why didn't I think of that?
