Email is a funny thing

Everyone here at work huddles over their email crafting messages to each other usually with their purpose of covering their backs and rarely with any real focus on getting things done properly/effectively

You do wonder what the world of work would be like without email...

Here at my work we have the usual email but we also have an internal Instant Messaging system not dissimilar to Yahoo or MSN messenger.

I get the impression people just use it all day to moan about things and chat each other up!!!

At our work email is the chatting-up medium of choice, while Facebook is used for b*tching - often about the same people you've just been chatting up on email
